We built our new custom home during the summer and fall of 2018 in Augusta, Maine. Our general contractor chose Newman Homes to do the framing, siding, windows, doors, and roofing for us. As the work proceeded, we realized we couldn't have been happier with the choice. The crew's work is solid and met all our specifications. It was so much fun to watch them work...every one of them doing a different part of the job, like a well-oiled machine. On top of doing a good job, the most important thing to us was that these are just nice people. They were friendly, they were always ready to answer any questions we had or to accommodate us if we had our own tweaks or suggestions, they were considerate of our schedules, and the list goes on. They always left the site neat and tidy at the end of the day. We showed pictures of the continuing work to friends, and several of them remarked on how neat the work site was kept. We have no reservations whatsoever giving Brandon and his team our strong recommendation. We feel lucky to have had them build our home, and it was almost like saying goodbye to family when they were done.

Newman Homes has completed several jobs for me over the years and I have been highly satisfied with every one. I purchased a condemned multi-family building as an investment and Newman Homes refurbished it entirely. There was extensive mold damage throughout the building, the roof leaked, and the decks and stairways were decrepit and downright scary. Newman Homes gutted the building down to the studs, removed every trace of mold, and reconstructed beautiful, marketable apartments. I have since hired the company to replace a roof and install roof vents on another rental property. Newman Homes is my top choice for any construction needs.

I hired Newman Homes to build my garage last summer. The work completely exceeded my expectations. The garage is perfect; exactly what I was hoping for. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a builder to hire Newman Homes. They are exceptional.

Newman Homes is an amazing company. They installed a fence in my new home. They were helpful installing my fence efficiently and quickly. They worked with me on cost and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted at the right budget for me. They were polite, on time and always keeping me posted on what was going on as the job advanced. I later had a toilet stop working. I already knew who to call. They came right over, the day before Thanksgiving and helped replace my toilet quickly. Their staff is polite, respectful, and courteous. On any new project I know who to call to get the job done right the first time.
